Merit was established in a small rented office and showroom in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, in 1993. Selling quality overhead projectors to schools, it sowed the seeds of our passion for creating excellent impact through visual means.
Over the next few years, the company grew as a specialist supplier of portable display and exhibition equipment before offering a design, manufacture, and installation service of larger-scale exhibition stands for sale and hire.
The growth required investment in larger premises and soon led to the opening of our branch in Coventry (later to become our central head office and production base).
