Seeds sown on a foundation of excellence

Merit was established in a small rented office and showroom in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, in 1993. Selling quality overhead projectors to schools, it sowed the seeds of our passion for creating excellent impact through visual means.

Over the next few years, the company grew as a specialist supplier of portable display and exhibition equipment before offering a design, manufacture, and installation service of larger-scale exhibition stands for sale and hire.

The growth required investment in larger premises and soon led to the opening of our branch in Coventry (later to become our central head office and production base).

The founders continued to focus on developing a team of specialists that could provide first-class service and added value for our clients.

Now, more than 25 years since those seeds were first sown, our success has been nurtured by retaining and increasing our client base.


And today, we continue to thrive by providing you with first-class exhibition display and retail display stand solutions enhanced through innovation, creativity, and dedicated customer care.
